Withering and destructive…that describes the heat wave we’re having in Houston lately.
This heat just withers the grass. If you drive by our church right now it has never been more obvious to see which part of our grass is sprinkled regularly and which parts aren’t. You know what else is withering and destructive? Your sinfulness. My sinfulness.
When we sin, we fracture relationships with other people and our eternal destiny. But yet, what has God done? He has given us a love that is lasting, permanent, eternal.
