Isaiah 56:1, 6-8 What Does Great Faith Look Like? Even in Old Testament times, God intended his house to be a house of prayer for all nations. His gathering work is still happening!
Psalm 67 The Church sings Psalm 67 in services that celebrate mission work. About this psalm, Martin Luther said, “Psalm 67 is a prophecy of Christ. It predicts that he will be the king of the entire world, and that he will rule people correctly, that is, with the gospel. The people will be freed from sin to live for him in righteousness and thank him with joy. Gentiles will give thanks to God, be joyful and fear him.”
Ephesians 2:13-22 What Does Great Faith Look Like? Great faith isn't found when you have more money, or perfect health, or the upper hand. It's found when Jesus himself is your peace.
Matthew 15:21-28 (sermon verses) What Does Great Faith Look Like? We don't know this woman's name; yet Jesus was amazed at her great faith. He knows her name. And she knows her Savior's voice.

Today we’re continuing our series of devotion messages on Psalm 103.
There’s a word in this verse that doesn’t come up a lot in the bible…harbor.
Pastor and his family recently went on vacation to Maine and couldn’t help but notice the many harbors and all the types of boats that stay there until the owner wants to take it out. Have you ever asked yourself what you’re harboring in your soul today?
Maybe it’s something positive that brings joy and happiness. Maybe it’s something negative that fuels lies and bitterness? Harboring things in our heart can be good and bad.
What is God harboring about you? That’s where we’re going today with this message!

1 Kings 19:9-18 Open Your Eyes! Elijah thought all was hopeless, and the future looked even worse. The LORD bolstered him through a gentle whisper, not a demonstration of power.
Psalm 73 Open Your Eyes! About this psalm, Martin Luther said, “Psalm 73 is a teaching psalm against the great irritation when godless, prosperous rich people ridicule poor, beleaguered believers as if God pays no attention to them. But God says, ‘Stop! Go into the sanctuary, and hear what the Word of God says about the situation. Such evil people will suddenly come to nothing, for there is no foundation under them.”
Romans 8:28-39 Open Your Eyes! God did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all. How will he not also give us all things? We are MORE THAN CONQUERORS!
Matthew 14:22-33 (sermon verses) Open Your Eyes! In the middle of the storm, Jesus announced, "Take courage. It is I. Don't be afraid." Wherever we go, this is always true.

“Keep your eyes on the prize!”
You’ve heard that expression before, haven’t you? It means to stay focused and keep your eyes on the goal and not let the small distractions pull you away.
It can apply to sports, an academic goal, or a promotion, but it can also apply to a christian life! Keeping your eyes locked in on your savior! Locked in on the one who’s won you the prize and awards it to you.
That’s what our verses are about today from Psalm 16.

Maybe a super fast cheetah? Or a beloved dog? What about a cockroach?
Probably not a cockroach or a rat, right?! They’re disgusting!
In todays devotion we talk about someone going from the best to the worst. From the divine God to the lowly human.
He came down to this earth to lower himself to save us.

Last month was Confirmation Sunday at our church! A time when young people from our congregation who have been studying the Word, stand up and confess their faith and prepare their hearts to take communion.
Each student picks a confirmation verse for them to hold close to their heart for their whole life. Today’s verse, chosen by Gabrielle Jackson, is Matthew 7:24-27 .
More pleasure! More money! Live for that because aren’t you missing out if you don’t?
Those are common thoughts in today’s world but living for those things to bring you happiness is like building your house on sand. It’s unstable and ever changing!
Wouldn’t you like your life to be a life that’s built on something that will last? That will not only withstand the storms that come your way but THRIVE?

Even though Psalm 23 is only 6 verses, it's a deep well from which christians can draw up comfort and strength, and encouragement from God's word!
Death, worry, anxiety, and other scary moments like this can be dark valley's in our life! The Lord has not only promised to be with us in those dark times but to bring us to be home with him forever!
