Happy Thanksgiving!
Have you ever heard the phrase, “People don’t look up until they’re flat on their back”?
It means they don’t look to God as their source of strength, peace, and life, until they’ve reached rock bottom…
The most wonderful life is one that is a life of Thanks-Living! We can live everyday like it’s Thanksgiving by being thankful for all the blessings God has given us.
Let’s talk about this more and give thanks to our Lord this Thanksgiving!

Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
Wednesday Nov 16, 2022
Have you ever shot a flare gun or seen one been shot off before?
Someone might shoot a flare gun if they or someone they find is in distress.
That’s an illustration for prayer sometimes…we send a flare prayer up…LORD HELP!!!
That’s how Jonah was after he was swallowed by the fish! His prayer has a lot to teach us because his prayer was so confident even though he was stuck in a bad spot!
Let’s take a deeper look at Jonah 2:2-7 together!

Sermon: 11.6.22- What Will Heaven Be Like?
Sunday Nov 06, 2022
Sunday Nov 06, 2022
This Sunday's Service Theme - What Will Heaven Be Like?
Scriptures to read along with this message....
Isaiah 65:17-25 (sermon verses) What Will Heaven Be Like? Isaiah wrote to people in exile, whose lives were crumbling. God gave real hope - not just a return to Israel, but a "new heavens and new earth."
Revelation 22:1-5 What Will Heaven Be Like? The Lamb is in heaven, and his servants will see his face
as they surround his throne. These words are trustworthy and true!
Luke 20:27-38 What Will Heaven Be Like? Concerned only for this life, the Sadducees did not believe
in the resurrection. How sad! Jesus taught them something else - that God is the God of the living!

Devotion: Jonah Runs From the Lord!
Wednesday Nov 02, 2022
Wednesday Nov 02, 2022
Today we’re starting a new devotion series from the book of Jonah!
When most people think of the Jonah, they think of him being swallowed by a large fish.
The book of Jonah isn’t ALL about the fish. That’s some of it, but it’s mainly about God calling a prophet to a very hard task and then seeing God’s patience and love as compared to Jonah’s impatience and anger!
Join us as we look at Jonah 1.

This Sunday's Service Theme - God's Word Produces Pure Trust
Scriptures to read along with this message....
Micah 7:18-20 God’s Word Produces Pure Trust! Why do we trust God? It’s because God’s compassion and mercy flow from him to us through Christ. There’s no one like him!
Romans 5:6-11 (sermon verses) God’s Word Produces Pure Trust! It’s shocking and special: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. This grace defines God’s unique brand of love.
Luke 19:1-10 God’s Word Produces Pure Trust! Everyone else scorned Zaccheus, the tax collector. But not God! The grace Jesus showed Zaccheus is the same grace he shows to all.

Devotion: Characteristics of God: Love!
Wednesday Oct 26, 2022
Wednesday Oct 26, 2022
God is Love…probably the most important characteristic of God we’ll talk about in this series!
He’s triune, holy, eternal, all-knowing, everywhere, powerful, and faithful but none of that would mean a whole lot other than to terrify us if He weren’t also, LOVE!
Let’s look at Psalm 103: 8-12 together and find peace in God’s abounding love for all of us despite our sin!

What do you think of when you hear the word, Faithful?
Loyal. Trust worthy. Never lets you down. Doesn’t break a promise.
All of that is true about God.
That’s not true of humans is it? We try our best but easily fall short.
God is not like that…what peace we can find in that promise! Join us as we look at 1 Corinthians 10:13 today and God bless your week!
