This Sunday's Service Theme -God's Promises Produce Persistent Prayer
Scriptures to read with this sermon....
Genesis 32:22-30 (sermon verses) GOD’S Promises Produce OUR Persistent Prayers! Jacob was returning home for the first time in 20 years. His brother Esau was waiting…would this go well? Jacob wrestled with the LORD in prayer the night before they were going to meet.
1 John 5:13-15 GOD’S Promises Produce OUR Persistent Prayers! To pray, “Thy will be done” seems easy and simple. Our experience teaches us otherwise. But God’s promises produce a desire in us to take up that struggle, joyfully and confidently.
Luke 18:1-8 GOD’S Promises Produce OUR Persistent Prayers! Jesus told his disciples that difficult days lay ahead – both for him and for them. In Christ, however, they could endure – and that’s why it’s essential to be persistent in prayer!

God is ALL KNOWING!
He is Omniscient!
There is nothing that He doesn’t know!
Is that comforting or scary?
It can be scary when we think about all the things we do and He knows it all. But when we have Christ and know all our sin is transferred in full to Jesus and His cross we can find peace!
All sin of yours is forgiven! What a gift!
Let’s look at Romans 11:33-36 and discuss this even more …

Devotion: Characteristics of God: Holy!
Wednesday Sep 21, 2022
Wednesday Sep 21, 2022
Holy means PERFECT, SINLESS, NO mistakes, ALWAYS correct!
It also means you must punish sin, you can’t just let sin slide. And if we are to give God the honor He deserves, we shouldn’t use the word “holy” in an irreverent, disrespectful way!
Today we’re going to look into Isaiah 6:3-4 and look into the true holiness of God!

Devotion: Characteristics of God: Triune
Wednesday Sep 14, 2022
Wednesday Sep 14, 2022
Triune, means three...three persons, one God!
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
It can be a hard concept for us to understand but that's a good thing!
Martin Luther once said, "If you can not understand how God is one God and three persons, give God credit for being smarter than you are..."
Join us for today's devotion as we look at Isaiah 55:9 and see how God is triune.
