Hosea 3:1-5 Though the Israelites were unfaithful, the LORD's love never changed for them. To help him grasp his love for his people, the LORD commanded Hosea to find and redeem his adulterous wife.
2 Corinthians 2:5-11 A church member who had been involved in sexual immorality was now repentant. The other members were encouraged to assure him of Christ's forgiveness
Luke 15:1-10 (sermon verses) Jesus is overflowing with passion for each and every soul. Have a passion for the lost as Jesus does! When one lost soul is found, match his bursting joy!

What are your thoughts when you ask someone for something?
There are 2 things to consider:
1. Are they ABLE to give it to me?
2. Do they WANT to give it to me?
When we ask God for some really important things those two questions still come into consideration.
In today's devotion we will look at Romans 8:32 to find peace knowing that God not only has the ability but He also wants to help give us all the BIG things we pray for in the Lord's prayer!

Have you ever been on an obstacle course?
You probably have as a kid, or maybe you've participated in a Tough Mudder race?!
If you think of earthly life, you might compare it to an obstacle course!
There's all kinds of obstacles, one after the next...some are physical problems, sometimes it's natural disasters or war, it can be anxiety and social issues that cause stress...
There's all kinds of difficulties that we encounter and satan wants you to doubt God as you go through them.
Today we'll look at 2 Timothy 4:18 and find peace in God's promises!

Luke 14:1, 7-14 Pride goes before the fall. Instead of living a proud life, live a life of love, without ranking others and without hesitation.

What do you think of when you think of the word, "temptation"?
We can feel tempted by lust, pride, greed, and so many other things...
Satan tries to get us alone, away from God, and tempts us into sin.

This Sunday's Service Theme - Jesus = Messiah: An Unbelievable Prophecy!

Isaiah 53:10-12 (sermon verses) In 700 BC, Isaiah writes as though he's standing at the foot of the cross and the empty tomb. Because of Jesus fulfilling all prophecy, we are justified before God!
Hebrews 12:18-24 In Christ, we do not have a relationship with God that is dark, gloomy and stormy. In Christ, our relationship with God is joyful, perfect and unshakeable.
Luke 13:22-30 Only one person has lived perfectly, died innocently, resurrected triumphantly, and offered full forgiveness and eternal life in heaven. This is the narrow door! Make every effort to enter through it!

Every year California and other places in the US we see at least one wildfire.
Wouldn’t it be nice if when a fire was on track to being contained they had a huge 10 mile wide by 10 mile long blanket that would cover it and put it out immediately?
But what if instead it was a 10 mile wide gas can that they poured on to it? What would happen then?
YIKES!
When someone sins against you are you more of a wet blanket or a gas can?
Let’s look at some of Jesus’ parables today and learn more about the forgives we should have for others and the forgiveness that Jesus has for us!

Luke 12:49-53 In other Scriptures, Jesus commands us to make peace with everyone. He promises that in HIM is peace. But this peace doesn't come at the expense of allowing sinful behavior go unchecked.

Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread...
Have you ever given someone a gift and you went above and beyond searching and planning to make it just perfect?
Your heart was really ALL IN as you bought it for them.
You gave it to them and they smiled and later you heard them talking about how how awful that gift was and they didn't think that what you had carefully, thoughtfully, given them was enough.
They were not content with your gift.
How do you think God feels when He gives us everything we need but yet we worry, stress, and get frustrated instead of giving Him thanks?
Today we're going to look at Proverbs 30:7-9 and learn the peace and contentment we can get knowing we will always be provided for!
