We are all dealing with pieces of our heart that need replacing, right?
Each one of us is sinful. None of us are perfect. We all have rotten pieces of our heart that need to be replaced.
How does God deal with sinners that have rottenness that needs to be replaced?
Jesus! The child in the manger is the answer to any and every rotten piece of your soul that needs to get out of there.

What an honor God gives to us when He promised to bring us a Prince of Peace! Join us for today's devotion as we finish out our series on Isaiah 9:6 and may God bless you with peace this Christmas and always!

We are continuing our message series with the prophet Isaiah as we get ready for Christmas. This verse has four special names for Jesus and this week we’re focusing on “Everlasting Father”!
When we think about the term “father” we probably think of our own father or if you are a father yourself you might think about the the responsibility you have in that role. Some people might even think about the founding fathers of our country. Men who were courageous, determined, and lead their people. No matter what comes to mind, a father has many roles that comfort and protect us. Join us for today’s devotion about God, the Everlasting Father and may you find peace in His word!

Sermon: 12.10.23- The Kingdom of Heaven is Near!
Monday Dec 11, 2023
Monday Dec 11, 2023
Worship Theme: The Kingdom of Heaven Is Near!
Scriptures to read along with this message....
Isaiah 11:1-10 The Kingdom of Heaven Is Near! Delight in the fear of the LORD! Imagine his unmatched peace! All nations will rally to him. His place of rest will be glorious.
Psalm 130 - The Church sings Psalm 130 in services that emphasize repentance and forgiveness through faith in Jesus. Martin Luther said, “Psalm 130 is a prayer psalm. The psalmist confesses that no one is righteous before God, and that no one can become righteous by their own works and righteousness. People can only become righteous through grace and forgiveness of sins, which God has promised. The psalmist prophesies Christ in verse 8, and the entire psalm is based on this promise.
Romans 15:4-13 The Kingdom of Heaven Is Near! Would you like some endurance and encouragement? How about some joy and peace? Follow Christ Jesus, and listen to God's truth about him.
Matthew 3:1-12 (sermon verses ) The Kingdom of Heaven Is Near! Sinners aren't ok, as-is! A change of heart is needed. Don't live your own way; rather, produce fruit in keeping with repentance!

When we think about the overwhelming might of God, what do you think about? Do you think about how God has no beginning and no end? Creation? His miracles? All of those are amazing but aren’t even the best part! The best part of God’s might is His love! He doesn’t just give commands and dictate. He’s full of love, forgiveness, grace, and mercy!
Join us for today’s devotion and may you find peace in His word! We hope you enjoy this message and if you have any questions you can email us at: votl.podcast@gmail.com
