December is right around the corner and that means we’re starting to think about Christmas! When we’re thinking straight, that means we’re starting to think about Jesus!
God himself coming from heaven to earth to be a baby in order to win for us forgiveness of sin, new life, and salvation. Over the next few Wednesday as we’re getting ready for Christmas we’ll be thinking about Jesus coming and looking at Isaiah 9:6! Who would this Savior be when He came?

Thanksgiving Devotion!
Wednesday Nov 22, 2023
Wednesday Nov 22, 2023
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Thanksgiving Day gives us an opportunity to slow down and reflect on why we have so many reasons to be grateful. The focus of our message today is that we can be thankful for Christian friends. They are such a precious gift from God! May God give you joy as you are that Christ-centered, listening, loyal friend for someone else! May that joy be multiplied when others are Christ-centered, listening, loyal friends for you! Be thankful that in Christ, you are never alone, and always in a gospel partnership that literally lasts forever.
Listen to our "Thankful for Gospel Partnership" message today, based upon God's Word in Philippians 1:3-6.
We hope you enjoy this message!

Sermon: 11.19.23- Your Talents Will Be Audited!
Sunday Nov 19, 2023
Sunday Nov 19, 2023
Worship Theme: Your Talents Will Be Audited!
Scriptures to read along with this message....
Isaiah 1:10-18 Your Talents Will Be Audited! Our sins would condemn us eternally! But in Christ alone, their condemnation is erased.
Psalm 128 - The Church sings Psalm 128 in services that encourage the faithful use of material blessings. This psalm, in particular, focuses on God’s gift of marriage. Martin Luther said, “Marriage itself is praised, and married partners are comforted by God’s gracious will for them. They are encouraged not to look at the trouble, work, discouragement or discomfort of marriage, but rather at its happiness and blessing. Married life is a gracious gift of God – something that he blesses and holds dear.”
Romans 12:1-8 Your Talents Will Be Audited! View God's mercy! During your limited time on earth, offer everything you have in sacrifice to Jesus.
Matthew 25:14-30 (sermon verses ) Your Talents Will Be Audited! Our King has gone away for a time, and has entrusted to us some time, talents and money. Let's use it for his glory until he returns!

Devotion: Thankful for How God Made Me!
Wednesday Nov 15, 2023
Wednesday Nov 15, 2023
Today we’re going to continue our series on “thankfulness” with a message on being thankful for how God made you.
This is the opposite of how people often think. We have a tendency to wish we were something else. I wish I had better grades, I wish I was more athletic, I wish I was born into a different family, I wish I looked like them…
It’s common to covet something else and not be content with how God has made you. The argument comes down to you vs. God. “God, I don’t like how you created me and I wish I were something different.” But, today’s Psalm verses describe the tender touch that God had as he made you just so!

Sermon: 11.12.23- Cancel Casual Christianity!
Sunday Nov 12, 2023
Sunday Nov 12, 2023
Worship Theme: Cancel Casual Christianity!
Scriptures to read along with this sermon....
Isaiah 52:1-6 Cancel Casual Christianity! The people were sleepwalking through life, grieving many afflictions. Isaiah announced, "Wake! The LORD redeemed you and crowned you!"
Psalm 90 - About this psalm, Martin Luther said, “Psalm 90 is a teaching psalm. Moses teaches that death comes as a result of sin, which is innate from Adam to all of us, even though it is known only by God and is hidden from the world. The psalm asserts that life here is both short and miserable, and could be called ‘daily death.’ But that is surprisingly good, because we are driven to God’s gracious help for deliverance. God shows us this deliverance by sending Christ. This psalm is a short, fine, rich and full little prayer.
I Thessalonians 5:1-11 Cancel Casual Christianity! Dear Christian, live in the light! God did not appoint you to suffer, but to receive salvation through Christ.
Matthew 25:1-13 (sermon verses ) Cancel Casual Christianity! All ten virgins were invited. Five were aware, wise and prepared. Five were unaware, foolish and left behind in the cold.

Devotion: Thankful Under Persecution Pressure!
Wednesday Nov 08, 2023
Wednesday Nov 08, 2023
We have wrapped up our 25th anniversary celebration and as we kick off the month of November we’d like to start a series about things we can be thankful for!
We’ll kick off this series with something that you might not be thankful for at first. Why would anyone be thankful for being taunted, ridiculed, persecuted, and pressured to separate yourself from Jesus? If and when that happens to you, it is actually something you can be thankful for and we’re going to talk about why.
Join us as we look at Acts 5:41 and God bless your week!

Sermon: Serve for the Glory of God!
Sunday Nov 05, 2023
Sunday Nov 05, 2023
Worship Theme: Serve for the Glory of God!
Scriptures to read along with this message....
Micah 3:5-12 Serve for the Glory of God! The LORD cannot be bribed! His Word alone has power to soften hearts, leading sinners to admit sin and repent.
I Thessalonians 2:1-13 (sermon verses )Serve for the Glory of God! These Christians stood tall in the face of strong opposition. They believed the Word of God - and lived to please God, not people.
Matthew 23:1-12 Serve for the Glory of God! The greedy Pharisees crushed people, so that they stumbled under guilt. Jesus taught the opposite - servant leadership - humbling oneself to serve God.

Devotion: Martin Luther’s Thoughts on “In Christ Alone.”
Wednesday Nov 01, 2023
Wednesday Nov 01, 2023
Today we are finishing up our 25th year anniversary and in addition to that we’re thinking about the Lutheran Reformation!
A little over 500 years ago, Martin Luther started the effort to get back to teaching God’s true word.
Today we’re going to celebrate that and talk about how we’re saved not by our own works, but by christ alone!

Reformation Sermon: 10.29.23- Freedom Found!
Sunday Oct 29, 2023
Sunday Oct 29, 2023
As Americans, we can all take freedom for granted.
But are we actually free? I think Jesus has something to say about it.
Let's look at John 8 and look at the keyword, freedom! It reminds us that we need to define "freedom" whenever we speak of it. The freedom Jesus comes to bring is a freedom far greater than anything the United States can offer.
